Yoga is an ancient system of knowledge and practice. Practising yoga does not only help to stretch and strengthen the muscles but also stimulates main glands and organs in the body, regulating the work of a circulation, digestive, respiratory, nervous and hormonal systems. It relieves and prevents back pains and alievate various ailments such as asthma, insomnia or PMS. Futhermore, yoga helps to improve concentration, deeply relax and deal with stress.

Sivananda yoga, created in India at the beginning of the 20th century belongs to the most influential and significant modern hatha yoga schools. There are over 8,000 teachers of this style all over the world. Sivananda yoga is a gentle branch of hatha yoga which focuses on proper breathing and relaxation. Every class consists of pranayamas (breathing exercises), 12 basic asanas (postures) with their uncountable variations and a final relaxation.

Weronika Chaberko is a certified, experienced Sivananda yoga teacher. She has done her training with Swami Atmaramanada from Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Centre in Berlin.
